We will be taking part in the 2020 Red Dot Product Design Awards with our new Nazari Necklace.
The Nazari necklace is a fully configurable mirror polished 316L Stainless Steel jewelry piece. The design of this pendant utilizes the concept of a system applied to jewelry. It consists of one main universal mount or outer piece and two completely configurable components: the inner fitting and the neck cord. The whole setup is complete with magnets that attach the central piece to the mount, and close the safety clasp.
The interchangeable inner piece was designed after the Nazari mosaics found in “La Alhambra”, following research on the Islamic geometrical art during the Nazari period
However, the Necklace configuration can be changed to tell an endless number of stories and to withstand the passing of time without ever fading in color or staining. Thanks to the tough Chromium, Nickel and Molybdenum alloy, 316L Stainless Steel clearly out performs other metals when considering durability and offers an excellent alternative for wearers with allergies to base metals such as copper or brass.
The Nazari necklace was conceived to serve as a template to accommodate infinite designs into a single jewelry piece.
